@JoeA_NFL You can’t make that argument in contrast to Ty Simpson though. I get it if you’re evaluating Mendoza str8 up. But to use it to prop Simpson up in front of Mendoza just is ludicrous

The knock on Fernando Mendoza isn't that he shrank in big games. He didn't.
The problem is that he never played really well against serious competition. His highest graded game was a low B+.
Much of that is because Indiana blew teams out. But it still needs to be answered for.

@GetUpESPN @danorlovsky7 This is more indicative on what these analyst think of Mendoza. Simpson isn’t better than Cam Ward or Jaxon Dart. So the are basically saying Mendoza is a fringe 1st rounder and Simpson is in the same tier

I understand Mesidor will be 25 when he’s drafted, but if my championship window is now, I’m taking him wherever I can get him. Day 1 starter; ceiling is capped, but you know exactly what you’re getting. And what you’re getting is a damn good pass rusher w/ 3 down ability.
