5/ BTW: World Cups have done mostly an excellent job with experienced commissaires. Hopefully a simple formula (EXCEL for the win) could help the smaller events and remove human error and complaining. Will submit to my connection at UCI, across the table, but what do you think?

🖊️ Transfer news. Proximus and Alphamotorhomes will become a UCI Cyclocross Team next season with 🇭🇺 Kata Blanka Vas (in collaboration with Doltcini-Van Eyck) and 🇧🇪 Alicia Franck as two of their riders. Helen and Stefan Wyman will be coaches of the team.

@StefanWyman @LastigNet Sure do. I was bad off. Finished well but it could have been way better. I lost 4 min in the last half lap. Had no clue what i was doing and then was "riding home" instead of to the mobilehome parked 100 meters away. Franky dragged me fully clothed into the shower.😂 Good times.

@LastigNet @sven_nys @thejonathanpage @thijsal @JoachimParbo @KeiichiTsujiura I raced Hoogerheide myself. I did not find that to horrible. The challenge there was the temperature change right before the start. I used my rain underwear and was totally fine.
Hombrechtikon around 2006 was way way more extreme. 0 Celsius plus snow-rain.

@LastigNet I photograph for a regional amateur league that sometimes sees riders break through to the international stage (Shirin van Anrooij, but also VDP and van Aert). Kids start at 5-6 years old there and it takes a lot of effort from the parents.

Hell yeah! Let’s think about the people who don’t get a big camper but have to work out of the back of a rented van, sometimes different mechanics at every race or relying on friends & relatives and low, if any, start money.
