Big Ten information and news
This is 100% correct. The Big Ten has always had the most money. What changed, as we all know, actually starts with the conference leaders. We have gone from Jim Delany's D3 threat at a football media days to $50M rosters. It is a MASSIVE change. The author is correct.

The Big Ten has stolen the SEC’s mojo. Better teams, better players, better stories. Better present — and more potentially damning — better future.  usatoday.com/story/sports/n…

This is correct. Why wouldn’t Israel—or for that matter, any Western country—sentence convicted terrorists who slaughter innocents to capital punishment? Keeping them alive as bargaining chips incentivizes future hostage-taking and perpetuates an endless cycle of catch and release. American citizens were butchered and taken hostage on October 7, 2023. The U.S. then had to expend significant resources and political capital to help bring the hostages home. Part of why so many were taken in the first place is precisely because Israel has recklessly kept large numbers of terrorists alive in prison—only to inevitably trade them for hostages at absurd ratios. In 2011, Israel traded 1,027 Palestinian prisoners—including Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas chairman and chief architect of the 10/7 massacre, and many others convicted of deadly terror attacks—for a single captured soldier. In 2008, Israel traded Samir al-Quntar, a Lebanese terrorist who in 1979 brutally destroyed an entire Israeli family and was seen bashing in the head of a four-year-old with rocks, along with an additional four Hezbollah fighters and the bodies of some 200 others for the remains of just two Israelis. This policy change is long overdue. Israel is taking its security more seriously and becoming less reliant on others to bail them out. Good.
AG@AGHamilton29

The UN can fuck right off. Israel refusing to execute terrorists has been one of the most indefensible and harmful policies imaginable. I have been a fierce critic of this policy for decades because it has done unmeasurable harm. Many Palestinians and Israelis are dead because of it. You can trace the entire Gaza war and 10/7 directly to the refusal to execute terrorists convicted of murder. Israel created a cycle where terrorists murder innocent people and then wait in prison for their groups to obtain hostages to set them free. The terrorists behind launching the recent war on 10/7, including Yahya Sinwar, were released as a result of that cycle. IThat cycle ends if there are no terrorists, like Sinwar, waiting to be traded for hostages. It is specifically necessary for terrorism-related cases where that strategy has been used. Also, I would appreciate it if the people who support places that have legally enshrined the death penalty for crimes like selling land to someone who is Jewish or preaching Christianity to someone who is Muslim, please skip the lectures on the morality of the death penalty for such cases.

Watching these games the last few days reaffirms the urgency for North Carolina to hire the right coach. There are so many teams/programs that appear to be light-years ahead of Carolina right now, UNC can't afford to miss on this hire.

@GadSaad You supported Dave in his early innings, which were just as illogical. Glad to see you find intellectual consistency, but would be good to see some self acknowledgement when you were excusing the idiocy while still looking to maintain ‘bro-ship’ w/Rogan.

This is an outrage. Prof. Dr. Wikipedia Dave has spent nearly 25 minutes scrolling through TikTok videos to inform his well-reasoned position on Iran. He will "crush you," "cook you," "own you"! You are too cowardly to debate him. He will "destroy you"!
Ryan McBeth@RyanMcbeth

Comedian @ComicDaveSmith went on the Joe Rogan Podcast Episode 2474 where he either lied or spread misinformation about the conflict in Iran. Here is a breakdown with facts and evidence: youtu.be/Z1BqDKgBUg8

At this point in time, there is no better job for Tommy Lloyd than @ArizonaMBB. If you don’t want to call the Wildcats a “blueblood,” that’s fine. But he’s not leaving for North Carolina or the other “blue bloods” that could open next year. Just spend a basketball weekend in Tucson to understand that.

I've spent several "basketball weekends" in Tucson. Unfortunately a basketball weekend in Chapel Hill means much more. Purdue had a better crowd in San Jose this weekend. #iubb outnumbered them 3:1 in Vegas a few years ago. That shouldn't happen.

@Bobby2Bags AZ = Less pressure, greater power/less politics, easier path. Bball is king, town is amazing, support is there…only big league game in town. P12 days, Vegas was N. Tucson…so, fans didn’t travel — rather save it for P12 tourney v. mid-iU team. Was IU’s final 4 that yr.
