@Melenchon4Ever @kNight_F0 @realMaalouf Your the reason nobody likes the French. Go rot with Muslims
English

@kNight_F0 @realMaalouf I'm french you fucking piece of shit. I don't need Elon's stupid Musk A.I. to tell me what my friends were there to witness.

@50PlusGamer1970 Damn what an embarrassment of a CEO you are that you even tweeted this. 😭😭 I would be embarrassed to work for you bro

As a CEO myself, not at a company as large as XBOX, but a large one nonetheless, the job requires the same.
PSA: CEOs Should Never Respond to Console Warriors on Social Media
There is absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose.
The loudest console warriors on X aren't trying to have thoughtful discussions about gaming strategy.
Many of them thrive on engagement, outrage, and tribalism because that's how they monetize their accounts. The more chaos they create, the more clicks, impressions, and attention they receive.
Negativity has become a business model, and many of these accounts are simply grifters peddling outrage for profit.
The reality is that Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and PC all serve different audiences and have different business objectives.
Xbox is fundamentally a software and content company that happens to make hardware. They own more studios than anyone in the industry. To maximize the return on those acquisitions, publishing on multiple platforms makes perfect business sense.
PlayStation is a hardware-first business. Their consoles remain the centerpiece of their strategy, so naturally they emphasize exclusives and ecosystem growth to drive hardware sales.
Nintendo has spent decades proving that it doesn't need to follow anyone else's blueprint. It serves a unique audience, dominates portable gaming, and succeeds by doing things its own way.
PC gaming is its own ecosystem entirely, catering to enthusiasts who value customization, flexibility, and cutting-edge technology.
None of these companies or platforms need to pursue identical strategies. In fact, if they all did the exact same thing, the industry would be far less interesting.
Xbox, go be the biggest publisher in the world.
PlayStation, go sell hardware.
Nintendo, keep owning gaming on the go.
PC, keep serving the tech enthusiasts.
And to the CEO of Xbox: please stop responding to console warriors on X. There are zero wins there. You won't change minds, you won't end the arguments, and you only elevate people whose entire business model depends on keeping those arguments alive.
Build great games. Execute the strategy. Let the results do the talking.

@_Tom_Henderson_ @FuuTop1 @HazzadorGamin It’s a Xbox show bruv not a general games show. Even then it’s about showing competition, why is your competitor not showing Xbox logos in their trailers but you are coming and showing off their logo….
English

Can't help but feel history is repeating itself here with new leadership trying to cater to a small online community to make them feel good at the detriment of the actual business.
What's going to happen is they will revert, see it makes no difference to console sales, then revert back to their OG strategy a year or two after Helix' launch because they want to be a multiplatform publisher and they don't care where their games sell.

@klobrille Seeing the feedback on logos. It was a miss, and I own it. We are talking about how we adjust for future XBOX shows.
English

It’s obvious they have no idea what direction they are heading. Listening to the vocal fanboy minority is exactly what got them where they’re today.

@BakeThePie English must be your second language because the way you worded it made it seem like Matt came out and said this and we just all believed it. This was an email he sent to an Xbox team, which most likely he truly meant. Now go to sleep cuck.
English

@MalikLabz You are way stupid to be this indignant You didn't understand what I was saying Prince valiant. I'm saying just because he said it doesn't mean he meant it email or not. Do you understand or do I have to be slower for an idiot like you to understand what I was saying
English

What happened to this Matt Booty?

Idle Sloth@IdleSloth84_
XBOX will still show competitive platform logos at XBOX Games Showcase. Matt said “We'll be very clear about what platforms a game is coming to and want to continue the precedent.” No news on Project Helix or the XBOX strategy. XBOX Showcase will focus on the teams and games.
English

@Teomanson They dint even try, what are you talking about? Xbox has so many projects in the works but none of them are exclusive so far so how do we know if it failed or not
English

@MalikLabz Incapable of leading XGS let alone overseeing three publishing arms.
He was a failure at Midway and he’s a failure at Xbox. Being a loser is in his blood.
English

@BakeThePie Are you an idiot? Matt never said this in public. This was a leaked email from him to the Xbox team.
English

@MalikLabz That was never him lol You just fell for it They say whatever they want to and you guys believe it. How do you have so much faith in this person when he's done nothing but spit in your face I don't get it I just don't get it
English

@MrkelsGame @Septic_Sauce Yes retard because the brand has been in the grave for 10 years. People want better Xbox already .
English

At least Asha recognises its an L. But concealing logos at a showcase for games that are multiplat anyway barely qualifies as a half-step.

@ivyaps @itsHunterTV @charlieINTEL Are you stupid? Outer worlds 2 is made by Xbox and came to Xbox yet PlayStation hid the Xbox logo from their trailer….💀💀💀
English

@MalikLabz @itsHunterTV @charlieINTEL Why would they market their competition? They are not releasing their games on Xbox like Xbox is on ps5
English

@charlieINTEL am I too out of the loop thinking its not that deep? The games are coming out on those platforms regardless
