I hate that games media is going the “vocal minority” route when describing Xbox fans who are voicing frustration with decisions Xbox leadership makes. I’ve seen this take a lot since Asha commented on the PS5 logo thing. I think that’s unfair to genuine Xbox fans like @klobrille

WWE has cooled off creatively, but AEW hasn't capitalized. Not even close. AEW has felt ice cold since MJF dropped the title.
AAA is the hottest wrestling company in the world. I thought #AEWDoN wasn't gonna be topped as PPV of the year.

@MrJmoneyDeus If you're seeing this post from this village idiot this is 9 out of 10 something Microsoft told them the post because no one can be that stupid. But then again he does pay for Twitter

Pandering to the loudest 1% instead of actual the community as a whole. Xbox gamers should be proud games are going to other platforms. Or is it an issue when its Playstation and not Nintendo/PC.

@JBishie When you see this post it usually means that this is something Xbox PR is telling their influencers to say

XBOX is judged by a completely different standard than Sony. When Sony minimises other platforms or leans into implied exclusivity, it’s praised as strong marketing. When XBOX doesn’t do that, they’re told they’re bad at messaging. And when they do try to tighten their messaging, they’re told they’re misleading.
Sony is allowed to curate perception. XBOX is expected to be hyper‑transparent to the point of self‑inflicted damage.

Why doesnt Ryan tell this to Sony ? Why doesnt he tell Sony they should show all logos at their presentations instead of pretending multiplats are exclusive?
English

The #Xbox showcase is mere days away, yet instead of showing excitement for the actually games themselves, all a certain segment of fans can do is obsess over exclusivity and logos. Sad to see.

@xMBGx Okay you have a big enough following. PlayStation gamers I want you to look up something. Humor me. Search the word "vocal minority" and you will see the influencers who are on the payroll of Microsoft. That is code speak That is what they want their influencers to say.

@FuuTop1 They are all part of Microsoft's PR campaign and they don't get paid nothing

There’s a growing subset of the XBOX community that treats any concern about the platform’s trajectory as a personal affront. Apparently, expecting the brand to prioritise its own platform, strengthen its ecosystem, make strategic use of exclusivity, and put long-term customers first is asking too much.
What makes this absurd is the way these people claim to care about XBOX while dismissing the fundamentals that keep a brand alive. They scoff at XBOX’s identity, wave away any discussion of hardware relevance, and pretend exclusivity is some moral failing rather than a basic competitive tool used by every successful platform in the industry.
They present themselves as visionaries who understand “the future of gaming,” yet they ignore the most elementary truths. A platform without identity has no leverage. A platform that gives away its advantages has no bargaining power. A platform that refuses to define itself becomes irrelevant by its own hand.
And still, they celebrate every move that dilutes XBOX’s position. They defend decisions that weaken the brand, then mock anyone who points out the obvious consequences. Complacency is mistaken for insight and marketed as progress.
They’re not defending XBOX. They’re applauding its erosion. They’re cheering for a version that stands for nothing, competes for nothing, and ultimately offers nothing that can’t be found elsewhere.

Matt Booty says Xbox’s 2026 lineup starts with Halo: Campaign Evolved, setting the tone for what the company wants next year to look like.
Halo leads the slate, but Booty also outlines how the rest of Xbox’s 2026 plans fit together.

@_J117_ As a person who used to be an influencer they don't care. They'll do what they do every single time they will bot the stream fill it with hundreds of bots playing Xbox or happy 25th anniversary. They'll make it look like nothing's wrong. Just don't buy It's simple

By the way for those who don't know the word vocal minority has been passed off to Xbox influencers that and the logo nonsense to confuse people into thinking it's about this when it's not. This is PR speak whoever says this you can't trust them

@JamiesAct You have Xbox gamers saying she's done so much already She is done fucking nothing but playcate them and most Xbox gamers can't tell the difference
English

@JamiesAct And what is hilarious is Asha had a chance to change it all and instead listen to major ass clown Nelson and told her to get in touch with these influencers who only care about getting paid. Instead of the people who actually would give her criticism to fix the damn problem.
