@oldyzach I only regret the few rare occasions when I sacrificed sleep for games. Besides that - games made me who I am. Taught me english, found me many friends, got me into programming, told me the most beautiful stories and shaped my philosophy.

Under one of my posts about SimCity 4, I received a comment like this, among others. And it got me thinking. Have I really wasted my life? I have a fulfilling, fairly high-profile, and well-paying job. I travel a lot, I have a loving girlfriend, a place of my own, and I’m happy. It’s possible that if I played less, I could have learned more languages, read more books, or perhaps chosen a different path in life. And yet, I don’t regret a thing. What about you, gamers?

@MartinTale Never occurred to me to like the posts I reply to.. You need to at least make me laugh or impress me to get a like. Just click bait, or questions might elicit a reply, but doesn't mean it deserves a like..

I'm 99.9% convinced that anyone who leaves a reply but doesn't like the post is a bot 🤖😅 Like it's illogical for a human to do that, right? 😅

@MartinTale Hey! I'm a human here and I reply many times to a post without hitting on the like. I mean, what's the point of liking every post I interact with? The algorithm will already know I'm interested in it. I'm going to like your post just because now I'm too conscious about it 😅
