@TradingWithGuy Investing isn’t gambling, it’s just a lot of investors get bored and end up gambling ruining investment’s name.

So let me get this straight… - Opening a business with your savings - Taking on $80k in student debt - Signing a 30-year mortgage - Marrying someone after 2 years = responsible life decisions But investing = gambling? Cool story.

@JamieFinance25 It depends on your goals. Paying off a mortgage is a big peace of mind, if possible to do it early it’s def worth it.

I'm going hell for leather to pay off my mortgage early. I hear people saying it's the wrong thing to do because I can make more in the stock market. But has anyone actually paid off their mortgage and felt regret about it?

Would you rather a Rolex Datejust 41 for $19,600? Or a Casio Green Dial for $152 and $19,448 of the S&P500 and Bitcoin? Fancy Watch people are money wasters imo

Another $1,411 in options income this week, bringing my total to $24,551 year to date. Most of it came from selling covered calls. I did not sell any puts because I’m keeping cash available and staying away from margin. Subscribe to follow along.

@CircleZeroW @ModernDayInves You don’t save much compared to the miles you are putting on a $100k car and the maintenance you’ll pay for, not saying it’ll break but maintenance and repairs on a $100k car will run your pockets yearly.

@ModernDayInves Idk, but I heard that you can write it off as a business expense as you need it, and after a certain amount of mileage, they cover some percentage.

Just watched a guy get out of a $100,000 car and deliver DoorDash. Guess you have to pay for that car payment somehow.

A lot of accounts talk the talk, I walk the walk. In just 4 years, I’ve achieved a 93% gain in one of my portfolios. No extreme risk. Didn’t spend hours researching. Index funds, conviction and a SMALL portion of individual stocks, for fun!

Yes, I was buying a grass cutting machine for $3k, opened a capital one venture card free, got the free 20k points plus 1.25x per dollar. Then locked the card to never be utilized again, but the account stays open so my credit limit is high. I’ve done this a few times and have saved over $5k on big purchases with points. Other than that I do my grocery shopping on my main credit card, soon as statement balance comes out I pay it off. Everything else I deal with my own money.

What big goals are you working towards? One of my main goal at the moment is trying to become debt free (i.e. pay off my mortgage, $73k to go).

@MarketMike I love futures. I tell everyone who do options, once you make good money take it and go to futures, don’t lose it all on options. You decide your risk, you decide your TP. Set your limit order and log off. With options can’t do that.

When the PDT rule was removed, I deposited $3,000 into a $HOOD account. The goal was to experiment with a very short-term 0DTE scalping strategy built around a few key concepts: - Extreme TICK readings - GEX levels - Expected moves At the start of the challenge, I was very aggressive with my position sizing. As the account grew, I backed away from the high-risk sizing that comes with 0DTE options and transitioned to trading Nasdaq Micro futures (MNQ). Over the past month, most of the gains have come from trading just 1–3 micro contracts. As of now, the account has grown to a size that I'm no longer willing to risk aggressively. Going forward, position sizing will remain small and controlled. I'll most likely be withdrawing $10,000 in the near future and placing $5,000 into each of my children's accounts.

@jade_esper @0xLuxi Who tf parks $250k to live off interest? They obviously mean in the market. You put in $250k another $250k margin that’s $500k, 10% a year that’s $50k, 20% and it’s $100k .

@0xLuxi Maybe in Vietnam with a super cheap apartment eating streetfood but personally I like to treat my girl to a life of luxury… interest on 250k is not doing that
