I doubt the exposed emails were the only reason for benching this clown. One thing people outside big award shows don’t always realize is how tight the ecosystem is behind the scenes. Nothing is random. Nothing is casual. Every angle, every clip, every moment is carefully controlled because celebrities, networks, and brands are all protecting their image. When you’re hired as a photographer or videographer at events like the Grammys, your job isn’t to become the star; your job is to make them look like the star. Behind-the-scenes content can be fun for social media, but there’s an unspoken rule: Don’t expose the process in a way that makes the subject look bad or breaks trust. The moment the camera operator becomes the personality, the dynamic shifts. And at that level, trust is everything. If talent or networks feel like you’re using their platform to build your own fame; especially by posting unedited or awkward moments; doors close fast. There’s a reason seasoned event crews dress neutral, move quietly, and let the work speak for itself. Professionalism in these environments is often invisible. The best operators are the ones you barely notice; because they’re focused on the craft, not the spotlight. It’s not about who’s right or wrong. It’s about understanding that in certain rooms, discretion is the currency. I think Cole knew this and flew too close to the sun and is paying the consequences.
