SCOOP: Trump will sign an executive order at 5pm, cracking down on mail-in voting across the country, @DailyCaller has learned. The executive order will require the admin to create a list of confirmed U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote in each state. It will also mandate that absentee ballots only be sent to those on each state's approved mail-in ballot list. Ballots will now have specific secure envelopes, with unique barcodes for tracking. States who disobey the order may lose federal funds under the presidential action.

They gotta pay for those education tests somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️ STAAR - every 3rd, 4th 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grader in the state of Texas every year. TELPAS - every English language learner every year until they leave Texas or graduate high school. SAT/ACT - some schools pay for one test per junior per year TSI - every high school graduate must pass. It can be taken as early as 9th grade and continued testing until a passing score is earned. PSAT - up to every 8-10th grader every year. AP- varies by district. Most are paid by the district. Scores for school report cards go up based on enrollment in AP classes, not passing the test. Schools get additional funds for each AP course taught. And now, starting 2027, legislators want to increase the frequency of STAAR testing. Give three tests throughout the year. Beginning, middle, and end in order to “measure growth.” Cuz it’s all about education, right? Who do I need to know to help fix Texas Education?
