🔥 Quick Take for Yesterday AMA with @keoneHD Q1. The Monad airdrop has greatly excited the community! How was the allocation and distribution determined? Becuz the community has been essential to Monad for years. They wanted to quantify contributions made since the early days, so they gathered three years of data from Discord, Telegram, and Twitter to analyze the social graph including mutual follows and individual influence within the community. They also considered each participant’s on-chain impact to ensure allocations reflected meaningful engagement and Data quants helped to measure exact data analys for airdrop. As a result, @monad were able to prove the community’s lasting presence. Q2. With mainnet launch just around the corner, what other updates can we expect before or after it? Monad team is spending this final stretch refining security and reliability to ensure a safe network. Ecosystem apps are also undergoing thorough onboarding. For example, Monad assets were recently added to Coinbase’s roadmap. This is a strong signal of what’s to come. Many founders and builders are preparing for this important day because it marks the launch of their own products. @keoneHD mentioned that he’ll soon highlight several exciting ecosystem apps. Q3. Since Monad acquired Portal, a payment infrastructure provider, and secured native USDC even before mainnet, can we expect the project to focus strongly on payments? These strengthen Monad’s ability to deliver real-world crypto applications and decentralized use cases. Monad’s efforts span both backend and fronten : a true full-stack approach. They’re focused on supporting the rise of consumer facing Web3 apps, since the blockchain’s ultimate value lies in decentralization, usability, and convenience. Portal + Monad’s approach ensures flexibility for enterprises and small developers alike, forming a high-performance base layer for diverse applications. Q4. How were projects selected for Monad’s incentive program, Momentum? Results will be announced soon. Momentum’s goal is to support builders, attract and retain users, and generate network effects. Projects were evaluated on how effectively they could bring in new users and encourage app usage. Those with strong strategies and thoughtful answers were selected. This is just the first wave, more will follow. Monad’s broader vision is to expand the pie by onboarding non-Web3-native users into the space. Q5. Many dApps are already creating buzz even before mainnet. Will they all be usable once the network launches? What we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg. Even pre-mainnet, many projects have been quietly building without marketing yet. They’ve been refining their products, business models, and user experience in preparation for launch. The team ran extensive testnet simulations, but once real money and tokenomics come into play, it’ll be the true stress test. Monad is working hard to support early-stage builders. After months of intense stress testing on testnet, he’s sure Monad’s technical foundation is solid. He sees this moment as just the beginning of a long journey. All the builders, category apps, the foundation, and the technology so far have been preparing for this “great beginning.” Monad is committed to supporting both long-term builders and communities that share this vision. Keone acknowledged how difficult it is to build in this space given volatile narratives, sentiment, and prices but said his goal is to make it easier for early builders through Monad.
