FFAR benefits American Farmers. We're celebrating a decade of impact on American agriculture with our 10th anniversary! In honor of #AgDay24, we're highlighting some of the farmers impacted by FFAR's research over the last 10 years.

LET'S START A CONVERSATION! Everyday @FoundationFAR builds public/pvt partnerships to fund bold food & agriculture research. Today for #WorldSoilDay we challenge YOU to share this post w/your own response to: What's the biggest challenge today & tomorrow for healthy soil & water?

About 40% of the world's #almonds are used in #ValentinesDay candy. To ensure there's enough for everyone, @FoundationFAR is investing in research w/ #almondfarmers to increase soil fertility & #foodsafety. #FoodResearch = Safe, plentiful holiday candy! bit.ly/3DZxwA7

Who knew?! Candy corn originated c. 1880s, when candy was made into the shape of pumpkins and other agricultural products. Farmers made up about 1/2 the US labor force, and agriculture-themed candies were marketed to children in farm country year round. history.com/news/candy-cor…

On #NationalFarmersDay and everyday FFAR gives thanks to all farmers and ranchers for their tireless work year-round and to our funding partners who help us support these producers with the bold research needed to provide the world safe and nutritious foods. @AgIsAmerica

Anita & Thomas Roberson recently shared their insight on farm labor and health. With help from @VSU_AG's Small Farm Outreach Program, they established Botanical Bites & Provisions, LLC and now farm full-time. Read their Insight: bit.ly/3UPNhk4
