? Reaction of international partners on changes to #Artemis - "I have had conversations with all my counterparts that contribute to #ISS and #Artemis. Everyone is excited to support ops on lunar surface instead of looking down from space. We're going to savage a lot from Gateway - comms, avionics, surface things - we were hardly at the point of no return - only two modules were being worked and they had significant issues. If we continued like this we'd looking down at our rival and watching and the fun they were having on the surface" -- @NASAAdmin

I applaud @NASAAdmin Jared Isaacman's decision to accelerate the Artemis program and leverage the pioneering CLPS program for accelerated landings. As the first commercial company to land and operate successfully on the Moon, @FireflySpace embraces the agency's forward-thinking and is ready to deploy the building blocks needed for a Moon Base.

NASA is building on 25 years of continuous human presence aboard the International Space Station. Before its decommissioning in 2030, we intend to:     - Increase support for commercial crew PAM and cargo missions to the ISS  - Maximize research missions in low Earth orbit with commercial potential - Help industry mature technical and operational capabilities - A future where NASA becomes one of many customers for commercial stations    America will work with industry and our international partners to ignite a sustainable orbital economy. We will never surrender our presence in low Earth orbit.

Science and discovery will always be at the heart of NASA’s mission.  - The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will launch this year. - The nuclear-powered Dragonfly mission will explore Saturn’s moon Titan in 2028 in search of signs of life, with new missions to Venus to follow. - The lunar base will incorporate MoonFall hopper drones and all the science payloads the landers and rovers can integrate. - Several scientific payloads to Mars including Rosaland Franklin Rover, MTN and SR-1 Freedom delivering Skyfall. These missions will deliver the breakthroughs only NASA can achieve, inspire the next generation, and continue the greatest adventure in human history.

We are going to DRIVE outcomes at @NASA. We are not going to be passive and sit on our hands. We are going to reject budget and schedule overruns, embed America’s best and brightest across the supply chain, and do whatever it takes to return to the Moon and never surrender it again.

NASA is building SR-1 Freedom, a nuclear electric propulsion spacecraft, launching to Mars in 2028.  We are proud to announce this during the 250th year of the United States, the mission’s name reflects the spirit of American innovation and exploration.  This mission will bring America’s nuclear power capabilities to space and deliver the Skyfall payload of Ingenuity class helicopters to explore the Red Planet.     Nuclear power and propulsion will be the key to undertaking crewed missions to Mars and exploring the outer solar system.     Space Reactor-1 (SR-1) Freedom will make the next giant leap and accomplish a key component of President Trump’s National Space Policy, bringing nuclear to space alongside @Energy.
NASA@NASA

NASA is advancing nuclear power and propulsion in space to accomplish President Trump’s national space objectives. With SR-1 Freedom, launching in 2028, we will demonstrate nuclear electric propulsion and deliver SkyFall helicopters to Mars. In collaboration with @Energy, these capabilities are key to future missions to Mars and beyond. A new chapter of deep space exploration begins. 🚀

NASA has awarded Intuitive Machines a $180.4 million dollar contract to deliver seven payloads to the Lunar #SouthPole region. 🌕 This marks our fifth CLPS task order and the first to require a larger cargo class Nova-D lunar lander. Among the payloads are a lunar rover from the @AusSpaceAgency and @blueorigin's Honeybee Robotics. We look forward to working with NASA to deliver mission success on IM-5. The administration and @NASAAdmin are moving with purpose and urgency on America's return to the Moon. Team Blue is proud to support this commitment. Moon — here we come!
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman@NASAAdmin

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

Vast is ready to meet NASA's call for ensuring America's continuous presence in low-Earth orbit. We look forward to learning more details about NASA's proposed approach. Vast has always believed in reducing risk through a stepping stone approach. We are well-positioned to provide space station technologies and services to NASA having secured 100% mission success with Haven Demo and with substantial progress already made toward our Haven-1 launch early next year.
