I did actually. I just started this account recently so I don’t have any posts on here, but on other sites I’ve criticized fans for being too reactionary to his red cards. But there is definitely a difference between the two. Cubarsi is only 18, and takes responsibility for his mistakes. Meanwhile Araujo is one of our captains, and is supposed to be a well established leader in our backline, but had refused to take accountability for his mistakes. I’ll still support him regardless, but let’s not pretend Araujo’s weren’t worse than Cubarsi’s

I now understand why Flick plays Araujo at RB. Araujo at RB means Yamal won’t have to drop back to defend often. He will be free to express himself higher up the pitch. The only downside is that he won’t get support from the fullback on the attack.
