@JCHERIAT @NateSilver538 Normally, companies are struggling and facing bankruptcy BEFORE private equity firms buy them. PE companies swoop in and buy them out at a discounted price because they are floundering.
Sometimes, like in the case of Staples, the PE firms help save the business.
