@Zo_bo_fo_sho As a mom to very small children, my kindle cannot have pages torn out of it. And it’s much easier to read at 3am in the dark.
Physical books are fantastic but slightly impractical for some stages of life lol

I'm discovering there's a collection of Protestants who really, really, really don't like Catholics. Holy smokes. I'm not afraid to spread the Truth and share Catholicism, and I will be vocal. I can coexist with no issue, heck, I'm in Oklahoma. But of course we will convert everyone we can. I want America Catholic. That is our goal. But I’ll still love my brothers and sisters in Christ if they choose not to convert.

A few things can be true here:
1) It doesn’t quite make sense why the PENTAGON summoned a Vatican ambassador;
2) Bringing up Avignon is straight up insane, if it happened, which seems likely, and that’s aggressive towards Catholics;
3) Christopher Hale is an absolutely unreliable source and the Vatican probably just went “WTF” and moved on, and until an actually reliable source, like @PillarCatholic confirms any Vatican response, you simply shouldn’t believe any suggestions.
