İstiklal Savaşı’ndan sonra imzalanan 1923 Lozan Antlaşması’nın 12. Maddesi ile Yunanistan’a Girit Adası’nın sadece dörtte biri verilmiş, adanın etrafındaki 14 ada ile adacık ve kayalıklar Türkiye’nin egemenliğinde kalmıştı. @Drowssap12 @belkibalim @pihamu102250 @turkishcy It's not "middle eastern" per se, but they have ancient Greek ancestry which was mainly ANF (Anatolian neolithic farmer), which came from Anatolia and naturally is close to people around it.

@belkibalim @pihamu102250 @Noticing_Evil @turkishcy Race is a spectrum. Southern Italians often have some Middle Eastern ancestry, but they're neighbours. It's not really race mixing as we understand it.

They are one of the most ethnically diverse peoples in the world, but I've never seen anyone ask Italians for DNA tests like they ask Turks.
