Today, alongside President William Ruto, I co-chaired a joint meeting of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Central Management Committee and the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Steering Committee at State House, Nairobi.

We commend the AFC for choosing Nairobi as its regional headquarters, a strong vote of confidence in Kenya as a premier investment destination and a hub for regional growth.

Addressed the inaugural Africa We Build Summit in Nairobi alongside President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.

No official communication. No announcement, unlike the Italy trip. His bloggers called it personal business. So what changed? Why the silence until now? And this isn’t new. Around Jan 24th, I exposed another “secret” UAE trip. It was denied, until a photo later surfaced confirming he was there. Same script. Different day. Too many questions. 👀

Today I held a high-level meeting with H.E. Brahim Boughali, Speaker of the People's National Assembly of Algeria. Our discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between our two countries and promoting intra-African trade as a way to reduce poverty across the continent. I also expressed concern about conflicts outside Africa, such as tensions between the United States and Iran, and their negative impact on the continent. I urged Speakers, through the Inter-Parliamentary Union, to address these crises and explore ways to protect citizens from the resulting hardships. The Algerian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Farid Quahid, was also in attendance.
