Race-based sentencing is becoming more common in Canada, with judges using “Impact of Race and Culture Assessment” reports to impose shorter jail terms for Aboriginal and Black violent offenders. No matter how well-intentioned race-based laws and policies might be, they inevitably lead to division, resentment, and inter-ethnic conflict.

@YoungStreete Because most of them are part of the older demographic who are getting happier every year and earning more than Canadians in their prime earning years.
They don't want anyone upsetting the apple cart.

It’s amazing how many Canadians, using this app, get insanely offended when you point out Canada’s areas of weakness - like declining standard of living, declining productivity, declining healthcare access and soaring youth unemployment. Apparently, advocating for a stronger and more prosperous Canada makes you public enemy number one.

@johnkonrad You guys ruled the world and the waves by occupying Europe and taking it's place as Emperor of the western empire(s).

What if America is already far richer than anyone in the swamp is allowed to admit?
What if the real drag on the Republic isn’t taxes, isn’t debt, isn’t even the deficit, it’s Europe?
What if NATO was never a mutual defense pact, but a 75-year subscription America forgot to cancel?
What if “burden sharing” is the most expensive euphemism in the English language?
What if the City of London cabal is draining our banks?
What if the advice from globalists is terrible advice that’s costing us big?
What if every European basing agreement, every forward-deployed brigade, every Ramstein runway, every Aviano hangar, every Souda Bay pier is a tax American workers pay so Berlin can run a welfare state and Paris can run a 35-hour week?
What if foreign aid to Europe isn’t aid, it’s tribute, flowing the wrong way?
What if transporting the vast majority of trade on European owned ships costs more than we realize?
What if the NGO archipelago in Brussels, Geneva, and The Hague is just a money-laundering loop where US taxpayer dollars get rinsed through a “civil society” conference and returned as lectures about our democracy?
What if the UN isn’t a parliament of man, it’s a Manhattan timeshare with diplomatic plates, an accounting black hole, and a Human Rights Council chaired by people who’d jail you for tweeting this?
What if “the rules-based international order” was always code for: Americans build it, Americans pay for it, Americans bleed for it, and Europeans grade it?
What if $36 trillion in debt looks a lot smaller the second you stop underwriting a continent that sneers at you in three languages?
What if you zeroed out the Europe line, the NATO line, the UN line, the NGO line, and woke up tomorrow in a country with the fiscal headroom to rebuild every shipyard, every foundry, every rail line, and every Navy hull we’ve let rot since the Cold War ended?
What if American tourists went to American cathedrals, American opera, American museums, American cities instead.
I’m not saying I believe all of it.
I’m saying maybe, just maybe, we could pay down all our debt and wouldn’t have to pay taxes at all if we cut Europe loose.

@Pataramesh Fascinating. I'm really surprised they've built something that fires MRBMs and has kept operating in spite of US airpower for this long.
First enemy America's fought that has an actual working (so far) plan other than "post-invasion failed-state insurgency" since what, Vietnam?

The UK has restricted U.S. B-52 stand-off attacks to 'defensive' missions
➡️ This likely refers to 🇮🇷 Missile City operation-supression missions.
Launching JASSM, mainly from Iraq, toward tunnel entrances of the complexes
➡️ Hence Missile Cities act as a sponge, shielding Iran from dangerous JASSM strikes and exhausting the stocks of this high-end asset

@ChristianHeiens Most don't know how to ascertain whether such a would be vanguard are actually worthy of that faith and subordination.
All the subversives, grifting narcissists, gatekeepers and otherwise unworthy proposed leaders people have been burned by doesn't help.

“We the people” never rule and democracy is a sham. Elites are the only ones who ever truly rule society, That’s why they’re “elites” in the first place.
Sometimes they’re open about it and call that arrangement monarchy or aristocracy. Sometimes they lie and call it democracy. But they’re all synonyms for the same system of government that has been with us since the dawn of civilization, and that system is oligarchy.
The only question is what kind of elites run your society, and to what ends?
Populist movements in the West by and large do not understand this, which is why they continue to fail.
They think elites are automatically bad because our ruling class has betrayed us. But elites aren’t bad anymore than fire is bad. Fire can heat your home or burn it down. Our current elite is trying to burn our home down. We need one that will warm the hearth instead.
Rather than struggle in vain to tear down the concept of elites as a ruling class, the populist Right should be replacing the existing ruling class for one of their own. But doing so would require populism to subordinate itself to a vanguard that will take power to save the nation, just as the Founders themselves did 250 years ago.
The willpower is there. The hierarchy and discipline is not.
