The genuinely worst thing the MD devs have ever done is reduce the in-game timer
The number of games I've won i absolutely shouldn't have or lost when i was guaranteed to win because the 300 timer is simply not long enough for a game of 2026 yugioh is criminal

The moment it clicked why modern starters feel so wrong made me feel so smart. It’s because it’s practically impossible to picture them in the wild. Like I can’t imagine Cinderace in a desert or open field not looking out of place

@Cabforpitt @jen_tcg In yugioh, it should always be possible to figure out what's in your deck (assuming you remember your own list lol). You can also banish/exile cards face down in yugioh, but you may look at them and your opponent may not.

@OfCharacters @jen_tcg Do you always know what's in your deck in Yugioh? In magic it's possible to have cards exiled that you can't look at (or Pokemon with prize cards)

one thing I don’t get about yugioh is that you’re not allowed to “fail to find” a search target. like you’ll get a penalty if you play ROTA with no lvl 1-4 Warrior in deck. what’s the reasoning behind this? every other card game I’ve ever played lets you freely fail to find.
