There are a handful of issues effecting #Polkadot (DOT) functionality in #Ledger Live including the ability to stake and send DOT via Ledger Live. Rest assured, this does not restrict you from accessing your funds - you can always connect your Ledger Nano to another third party wallet to view and manage your funds. We've seen customers intermittently experience "Unknown error" when trying to make ETH/EVM transactions with their #Ledger Nano's connected to MetaMask. Rest assured, there are many other ways to transact and connect to your favorite dApps outside Ledger Live. Rabby, Taho, and WalletConnect are alternative options in the meantime. The latest version of Ledger Live (version 2.85.0) is causing some users issues when updating Nano apps or their device OS (firmware). Our internal team is working on a quick fix for this. Any user on Ledger Live version 2.85.0 who is experiencing this issue can uninstall Ledger Live, then redownload / install the application from our official download page. This will install Ledger Live version 2.84.1 and correct the issue. The latest version of Ledger Live (version 2.86.0) is throwing a false-positive for a trojan virus with Kaspersky antivirus. Our team is aware of this are are looking into it, but please rest assured that this is a false-positive and there is no risk with installing this update. To install the update, affected users may have to whitelist Ledger Live in their antivirus software, or if necessary, temporarily disable it to perform the update.
