Blue states are mad because they've been using the "Neither compact nor fair" method for a long time, and are unhappy Red states are moving to the "Compact but 'unfair'" method now.
No sympathy for the blues on this, who have been cheating for decades and are upset Republicans are starting to respond to balance things out.

It’s the same thing as someone having a gun to your head and giving you the option to just leave safely or flip a coin for if they blow your brains out. It doesn’t make sense at all to pick blue and anyone claiming it does is either faking it for social points or can’t process information
