Young King, - Your walk should be blameless. - Speak the truth from your heart. - Do not slander other people. - Do no wrong to your neighbor. - Do not cast slur on others. - Despise the company of a vile person. - Honor those who truly fear the Lord. - Keep an oath even when it hurts. Your word should be your honor.

Delta and Imo states as examples, have more hotels and bars than factories or companies where more people would work and earn legitimately. How can states where most of the people do not have good jobs afford those hotels and bars? Fraud and crime. End.

Why are poor, struggling Nigerians who are being affected by the faulty system in the country waiting for celebrities or pastors to lead a protest for them? I understand the argument that those who spoke up in the previous administration should maintain the same energy, but if they have decided not to, are we going to keep waiting for them? Nigerians need to learn how and when to put up a fight for themselves.

There are some very powerful people pulling the strings behind the scenes on this legal issue over airtime lending in Nigeria, trying to stick their straw into a market worth an estimated N400b annually.  These people are close to the president, and are wielding tremendous power and distorting the entire economy in ways that would have embarrassed a post-Soviet Russian oligarch in 1994. I’ve been actively aware of this matter for over two years now and the time may have come to tell the full story of how Idris Saliu Alubankudi, and his brother Shamsudeen Saliu 'Shamz' Alubankudi - both very close to Bola Tinubu and his family - have built one of the biggest and most powerful state corruption enterprises in the entire history of Nigeria. These men are attempting to capture the systemically important foundations of the entire Nigerian economy - specifically telecoms and ICT - and turn their 3 year-old corruption enterprise into a sort of Nigerian chaebol. You have never seen anything like it before. You will be hearing the names 'Idris' and 'Shamz' a lot in the coming few days. Also don’t forget their family name 'Saliu Alubankudi.' It's an important part of the story.

Do you remember Chidera Ikeoha, the youngster we found inside motor parks selling his book he wrote to feed and support his family? Public donations for his book were channeled toward his education. The remaining funds will see him through to graduation. We moved him from a public school and enrolled him in a private school in Enugu. He is currently in SS1 and will enter SS2 in September. Chidera is an A student determined and focused. Supporting his education was a brilliant decision. We have a star on our hands.

Today, the speaker of @HouseNGR has announced the defection of my good friend, @OKChinda, from @OfficialPDPNig to @OfficialAPCNg. It is claimed he also now ceases to be #MinorityLeader of the House. They back-dated the letter of notification to 23 April. Last month, while still the Minority Leader of the House, Chinda was selected to be the candidate of the ruling @OfficialAPCNg for governorship of Rivers State in #NigeriaDecides2027. I am sure they have lined up their #FullyOwned judges to make this look kosher with a suitable court order. But no amount of #CourtWashing can clean this up. It is #OrganizedCrime. Period!

This lady is doing the real groundwork. I don't know what is motivating her, but her mobilisation effort needs to be studied, and it deserves the highest level of commendation. More grease to your elbow.

I still can’t believe that @officialABAT declared a state of emergency to do Wike’s bidding citing a fake pipeline explosion, but is instead hiring 1,000 forest guards with 11th century old Bornu empire dane guns to go to the ISWAP/JNIM infested Old Oyo National Park. Funny guy!

Dear @OfficialDSSNG, 1st off, thank you very much for this statement. So, let's try & parse your narration a little. You admit you interdicted @OkeyNdibe on arrival at the #MMIA. The duration is immaterial. What matters is that for the duration that you had him, he could not exercise free movement. But that is beside the point for now. You say you are doing #WLAHygiene in respect of actions that go back to military rule. That ended 27 yrs ago. But you admit that Prof Ndibe was #watchlisted in 2013, which was 13 yrs after the return to civil rule. 14 yrs ago, Okey Ndibe was a professor, a writer, & a columnist. The other thing happening 14 yrs ago was the breakout of #BokoHaram into an insurgency & the onset of murderous terror on #Nigeria. 2013 was incidentally the year that the Tanimu Turaki SAN Committee on the security problems in Northern Nigeria submitted its report to @GEJonathan. 2 yrs earlier, the Gaji Galtimari Committee on the Boko Haram problem also did the same. Rather than prioritize the fight against those, you chose to watchlist a man whose entire goal & mission has always been to make the country better. What you need is more than #WLAHygiene. What you need is institutional hygiene. You may wish to take that even more seriously.
Department of State Services (DSS)@OfficialDSSNG

RE: ARREST OF PROFESSOR OKEY NDIBE- SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby clarifies that, it did not arrest or detain Prof Okey Ndibe at Murtala Muhammed International Airport on June 1, 2026 or any other place on that date for that matter. The current DG of the Service, upon assumption of duty, directed a review of old Watch-List Actions (WLAs), some of which date back to the Military Era. This is to ensure that citizens are not unduly embarrassed due to pre-existing WLAs. In this regard, all those who had previously been watchlisted while on transit, are routinely interfaced with as a prerequisite for a review and possible downgrade of the Action. This, being a precursor to a final delisting in accordance with international best practices. It is pertinent to state that the foregoing process is aimed at ensuring that before the final delisting, that activities, travel histories as well as current activities of these individuals are not in furtherance of and do not still conform with the reasons for the initial WLA. Suffice to point out that since the inception of the current Management , many Nigerians, including journalists have benefited from this process. This is despite the fact that the Service conducts this clearance to take care of Watch List requests from other Agencies. A case in point is that of Mr Lanre Arogundade, Executive Director of the International Press Centre, IPC, whose delisting was approved in May 2025, after over a decade on the Watchlist. In the same vein, Prof Ndibe has been on Watchlist since January 29, 2013. Meanwhile, his case has been reviewed and downgraded. Thus, the interface with him at the airport, was geared towards the final delisting of his details from the Action. As part of the routine interface involved in the process, after barely an hour of his interaction with the Service, he was cleared and escorted. Note that, even on his Facebook post, he referenced the professional, courteous and decorous conduct of Service operatives, who continue to scale their respect for the rule of law and human rights under the new Leadership. The Service reiterates that this process will continue to ensure that all Nigerians are fairly treated, with due regard to the provisions of the Law. The DSS therefore urges citizens affected by the Service WLA, who wish, to formally report same to the National Headquarters to facilitate ongoing process. However, regardless of any formal request, the attempt at hygiene regarding the WLA, will be sustained. Favour Dozie Deputy Director, Public Relations and Strategic Communications National Headquarters, State Services June 2, 2026
