Out of Cuba now otw home and finally have access to the internet I’m having a hard time putting into words the thoughts I have on my experience there the past couple days. The level of cruelty that the oil blockade the US imposes on the day-to-day lives of everyday Cubans cannot be overstated. Everyday conveniences and essential services that we take for granted are completely non-existent. Entire systems, that were already dilapidated by decades of sanctions and restrictions from participating globally, start to break down exponentially when you remove fuel from the equation. The innovation required to accomplish the most basic tasks is astounding. People existing at night in complete darkness from the blackouts, just trying their best to lead normal lives in spite of the lack of power. Yet every Cuban person I met was extremely kind, patient, and welcoming. The resilience the people of the island have is extremely admirable and heartbreaking to witness. Cuba is a beautiful place with amazing people and insane potential. What the US has done to that island is shameful and nothing short of inhumane

When Trump leaves office: The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department. The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center. The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico. The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom. Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired. The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president. Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference. The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies. The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists. Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it. The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters. U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators. And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.

I’m desperately in need of a NAS drive or some kind of storage for the hundreds of hours of WoW footage I have. I keep having to re-record stuff because I don’t have the space to keep files once videos are done. Any budget friendly recommendations?

I was sitting at my puzzle table, getting ready to go live yesterday, but I have been really lightheaded and then I had a chest pain just come out of nowhere. It took my breath away. I took the nitroglycerin my daughter called the ambulance I took more nitroglycerin and aspirin while we waited and it actually worked. Doctors were concerned because the nitroglycerin and aspirin actually worked for the chest pain. So that's why they admitted me with my history of heart attacks. I have fluid around my heart. My potassium is high. My blood pressure is really low. My heart rate is really low. My kidneys are dry, which is a new term for me, but they're not functioning properly. I don't have any control over my urine. Dizzy with any motion, nauseous and body hurts. If you remember about a year ago, I came in and had an angiogram by my cardiologist. She was thinking about putting a stint in at the time. She consulted with the cardiologist at the hospital and decided against it. So they are checking in those areas to see if that is worse or has broken apart the way they described it. Also checking for blood clots. Kind of out of it I'll check back in later. I don't have any glasses.
