@PrestwichHeysFC Surely contributing 3 goals in 5 games as a centre half and leading the team to 9 wins in 9?!?! David Badrock must surely get this 🏆

What I see here is what I’ve always seen from the club - 100% total transparency and clarity, some other clubs would do well doing the same… Radcliffe are very fortunate (like a lot of football clubs) to have an excellent owner who puts his own money into the club. A club that’s needed huge infrastructure investment over the last couple of years. A fortune spent on the best pitch in the league. A ground invested in to become NLN compliant ie floodlight upgrades, turnstiles, food kiosks, fan zone etc. A lot of money (clearly) has been invested into the football club - it needed it as it was previously left to rack and ruin. A club budget or club spend is different to what a first team budget is… There’s a saying in business, you have to speculate to accumulate and that’s exactly what the owner has done, again like many other football clubs owners have done. But I’ll repeat, there’s huge difference between a club budget (football club spend) and first team budget… So relax, Jordan Hulme is still the top earner at the club on £300 a week 👍

Radcliffe FC, in the sixth tier of English football in National League North, lost £807k last year, that’s £15,500 a week. It was £674k the previous season. Club is trading due to increased borrowings as long term debt exceeds £2.1m

@hvgoenka The Prime Minister once explained that gas can be produced by inserting a pipe into a drain. If that works, why would we need the Strait of Hormuz at all? 😄

The presenter rights calls out Martin here. His punditry is horrific. There’s not a soul on this planet that should think that’s a penalty. If they do then they’re just delusional. Of course Martin Keown argues it is. The bloke is a moron.

A radial trans activist named “Lynsay” Watson was arrested in Manchester, England. He hid his face. Watson is infamous for reporting “transphobic” people to the police in serial, frivolous complaints. Watson was a cop who was fired for gross misconduct.

@criggfairy @OllieHolt22 Not County's fault. Blame the council. Life Leisure didnt want to re-new the lease on the building, so County have taken it on.

Great work by County and Mark Stott
Sam Byrne@_SByrne

Stockport County, under owner Mark Stott, are planning to help deliver 126 "genuinely affordable" homes in the borough - using land once earmarked for a training facility to tackle the town's housing shortage. The club say that a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes would remain affordable long-term as part of a "once in a generation" opportunity in the town, 'supporting young families, key workers, and first-time buyers'. County also say that all proceeds from the proposal, which is planned alongside 'development partners' Stonebond, will be reinvested locally - supporting education and employment programmes with Stockport College and MMU, building on the Community Trust’s work with vulnerable residents, investing in youth and women’s football, and continuing to improve facilities at EP. The above is subject to planning approval, with the club also hoping to receive backing from SMBC on the project, which they say stands to bring 'significant benefits' to the wider community. Also worth noting that under Stott's ownership, County have now already invested north of £40m into both club and town in the last six years, with these plans set to add to that investment in the borough. Mark Stott: "Supporting the community and creating the right opportunities for young people matters enormously to #StockportCounty, which is why money generated from this development will be reinvested to support further and higher education programmes linked to sport, and for the benefit of community programmes and facilities.”
