Liberals / leftists like to claim that blue states are better than red states.
That’s an interesting claim because the fact is that Americans are moving en masse to red states, while many blue states (e.g., California and New York) are seeing mass exodus. Blue states that are growing is mostly due to immigration, but American citizens are leaving for the southeast or southwest at a faster rate.
Red states may not be as industrialized, but they are more affordable, have lower taxes, and more housing availability. If SHTF, most of the city creatures would be helpless because they cannot live off the land.
If you want to compare the welfare and crime rate stats to dunk on red states, well, look at the cities versus rural areas of red states and who is in charge. It’s often localized blue areas with a particular demographic in peril. All of a sudden, that picture becomes clearer.

A party with young drunk women? That’s called high school and college.
Weren’t these other girls adults? I don’t like the 17 year old there, she would have been an adult soon anyway but I get it, we have to draw the line somewhere.
There were young girls all over the place getting drunk, doing drugs and hooking up with guys at my college. Anytime I saw cocaine when I was in college, it always belonged to some girl I was friends with or hooking up with or something. None of my guy friends did cocaine, it was always the chicks who had it.
And if they got pregnant, the guys couldn’t take care of them, they probably got abortions. If they are adults, they are better off hooking up with older guys who have resources to take care of them if they get pregnant. So I don’t see a big issue there.
Matt Gaetz was literally just doing everything that 90% of my classmates were doing, at a very prestigious university. So no, I don’t see that being a huge issue.

Trump is right about the 14th amendment. He deserves to win his case before SCOTUS. But in the end, the question of citizenship goes far deeper than the legal arguments at stake in this case.

Ok, that’s fair. I believe he probably asked the guy and he said she was 21 and said she had an ID, he probably just figured he was telling the truth.
I disagree he would be a bad AG because I think he would lock up a bunch of criminals who “pay for play” Pam Bondi is ignoring, all the democrats are ignoring.. but I also think it would be difficult or impossible to get him in at this point, but I’m up for better suggestions.
I also don’t like the idea of calling him a pedo because he clearly wasn’t targeting underage girls.. I think it dilutes the term too much and makes it less serious if every guy who tries to hookup with girls in their early 20s could be labeled a pedo if they happen to pick the wrong girl at the bar.

Yes and the guy who was responsible got 11 years in prison.. I’m glad he did.. he met her on a sugar daddy website that she signed up for to meet older men to make money. Then he procured a drivers license for her that said she was 21, and Gaetz believed she was 21.
That’s a tough situation, but what I would do is whatever sentence you want for Gaetz, add it on to the guy who knew she was 17, not the guy who actually asked for her ID, was shown a valid ID saying she was 21…
