The BJP has no moral right to oppose Karnataka’s guarantee schemes. The same party that mocked and opposed our model has copied similar promises in other states for electoral gains.
Our commitment is clear: these schemes must reach genuine beneficiaries, and misuse by ineligible persons must be prevented. Cheating the government to avail benefits is not only illegal, but also a betrayal of the people of Karnataka.
Instead of spreading misinformation for political gain, the Opposition should support the government in ensuring that welfare reaches those who truly deserve it.
