Why do @FIFAWorldCup and the free press bend over backwards to protect the Islamic Republic? The fact that cameras at the World Cup purposely cut off the shots of Iran fans to exclude their Lion and Sun flags is baffling. We should not have to convince anyone to care about the horrors this regime has inflicted on innocent Iranians for decades.

Every Israeli who died in Gaza or Lebanon died because Israel refused to commit genocide. Had the Israeli air force "carpet bombed", had the IDF indiscriminately shot everyone, had Israel truly besieged Gaza, not a single Israeli would have been killed after October 7.

Some might wonder how a Yemeni Arab could harbor resentment towards Saudi Arabia. Let me explain. First, are you aware that Saudi Arabia is responsible for the deaths of one million Yemenis and the displacement of two million more? Second, Yemen is experiencing the world's worst humanitarian crisis due to the Saudi-led war, despite possessing vast natural resources. Third, Saudis consistently belittle, despise, and look down upon Yemenis simply because they work in Saudi Arabia in large numbers.

Hundreds of miles of Hezbollah tunnels in Southern Lebanon (many fully equipped) are slowly being discovered. Funded (billions) by Iran for the sole purpose of planning and launching attacks against Israel… a terror army that should not be allowed to exist in Lebanon.

SERIOUS QUESTION: Why are multiple U.S. members of Congress ferociously posting in defense of another country in open defiance of the American president and vice president? Isn't that a violation of their oath and potentially criminal?

Jaun, The Freed Retainer of Abu Zarr Imam Husayn told him: "I give you permission to leave. You were with us in times of happiness, do not imprison yourself in our difficulty." Jaun replied: "O son of the Prophet, I have been feeding at your place in days of ease. How can I desert you in hardship? My sweat smells foul, my lineage is low, my color is dark. Then permit me Paradise, so that my smell may become fragrant, my lineage noble, and my face illuminated. By Allah, I shall not leave until this black blood of mine mixes with your pure blood." He fought and killed twenty-five men before he was martyred. Imam Husayn came and stood at his head and said: "O Allah, illuminate his face, make his smell fragrant, include him among the devout ones, and make him known near Your Muhammad." Imam Baqir narrates: when people came to bury the martyrs ten days later, the body of Jaun was found emanating the fragrance of musk. The prayer was answered. The nose confirmed it.

Wahab ibn Abdullah ibn Habbab al-Kalbi was raised by a widow. His father, a companion of Imam Ali ('a), had gone to the Imam during his wife's difficult pregnancy, and the Imam had prayed for her recovery. She recovered. The Imam was then martyred. Months later, Wahab was born. Two years after that, his father died. He was also a Christian. So was his mother, Umm Wahab. Wahab had been married only two months to his bride Haniyya when the three of them, son, mother, new wife. At the outskirts of Kufa they found the city sealed. When Umm Wahab heard the name of the man camped at Karbala, Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, she almost collapsed. She said to her son: "Wahab, I must go and find out what is happening." They arrived on the 7th of Muharram. They spoke with the Imam ('a). When Umm Wahab learned it was Husayn, the son of Ali and grandson of the Prophet, surrounded by Yazid's forces, she told her son to hurry to his aid. Notably, when Imam Husayn ('a) learned that Wahab had been married only a couple of days before, he insisted Wahab leave and seek safety with his wife and mother. The Imam tried to send him away. Wahab refused. Between each charge he returned to his mother asking: "O mother, are you pleased now?" She replied each time that she would not be pleased until he achieved martyrdom. He went back every time. He killed twenty-four foot soldiers and twelve horsemen from the army of Umar ibn Sa'd. When both his arms were severed, his mother ran toward him with a tent peg crying: "May my parents be your ransom! Strive for the Household of the Prophet!" Imam al-Husayn ('a) gently turned her back, telling her jihad was not obligatory upon women and promising her paradise. Wahab fought until he was captured. Umar ibn Sa'd, even he, said upon seeing him: "How strong you are." Then ordered his beheading. His head was thrown toward Imam al-Husayn's camp. Umm Wahab walked out, lifted it, kissed it, then hurled it back at the enemy's army, killing a man. She picked up a tent peg and killed two more before the Imam came again to return her to safety. Haniyya had tried to hold Wahab back. She was human, newly married, afraid. But when she saw Wahab's arms severed and his body broken, she picked up a tent peg and walked toward the battlefield herself, crying: "May my father and mother be your redemption, fight for the sake of the family of the Messenger of Allah!" She knelt beside her husband. She wiped the blood from his face with her own hands. Shimr saw her and had her struck down. She was the first woman martyred in the camp of Imam al-Husayn ('a). They left this world the same day. As they had vowed. Wahab and Haniyya had two months. The Imam himself had tried to send Wahab home to safety to his mother, to his bride, to his new life. Wahab chose to stay. Haniyya began that morning begging him not to go. She ended it walking toward the battlefield herself. This is what love oriented toward God looks like, it does not shrink people, it grows them. A marriage built on shared purpose, not just shared comfort, produces spouses who make each other more courageous, more present, more surrendered to what is right. Umm Wahab had been Muslim for days when she sent her only son to his death. She understood what many who have spent lifetimes in Islam have not grasped: that love which holds a person back from their highest moment is not love, it is fear wearing love's clothing. Find someone whose qiblah matches yours. Someone who, when your plains of Karbala appear, does not diminish you but clarifies you. Wahab, Haniyya, and Umm Wahab were not perfect. But in one morning, across one day in history, across fourteen centuries of retelling, they are still teaching us what love is meant to become.

The Iran Watcher 🇮🇷@TheIranWatcher·
🚨 Hezbollah recruitment ads are now appearing in Tehran, offering salaries of around $1,000 per month - a substantial amount given the collapse of Iran’s currency. The obvious question is: why is Hezbollah recruiting in Iran? For decades, Hezbollah relied primarily on Lebanon’s Shiite population for manpower. But after years of fighting in Syria and repeated wars with Israel, the organization appears to be facing new challenges. Israel has inflicted significant damage on Hezbollah’s leadership, infrastructure, and military capabilities. If Hezbollah is now recruiting on the streets of Tehran, it raises serious questions about the state of its ranks and its ability to replenish losses from within Lebanon alone. For an organization that once projected strength across the region, looking to Iran for recruits may be a sign of deeper problems beneath the surface.
