@RTeejayy @GriftReport @IcelandFoods Yeah as I’ve said for many it’s not an issue, but for others that are elderly or have limited mobility, doing what you do would be too strenuous for them.
I also used to work in online picking for Iceland specifically, and packing it for customers myself was no issue at all.

Minimising plastic bag use/waste is a + in my book.
I’ve also been a driver for Tesco, rarely rushed imo.

@RTeejayy @GriftReport @IcelandFoods Far easier to take it into the kitchen to unpack it when it’s in bags, as opposed to picking it all up off of the floor or having to bag it yourself while the delivery driver is waiting for you! I’d totally understand feeling rushed/panicked when the driver has other jobs to do

@GriftReport @IcelandFoods People not really seeing this as an issue, but for a lot of people that order shopping online, they’re either elderly or disabled. Might seem like a non issue having to put it away yourself but for others it is not. Saves a lot of time & effort having it pre packed like before.
