@SilentlySirs 2 billion Muslims. Yes. Talk to me when you find leaders that: 1) Have not been selected and imposed on the people by the West 2) Don't have militaries built for keeping them in power/oppressing the people. (Not defending the country) Now, seriously, what are you asking for?

Even though I haven't watched it, I believe Shaykh is going to be right. Football exceeds being just entertainment for most people. It is identity, it is allegiance, and it often tends to be emotional investment that rivals what they give to their deen. You see grown men devastated for days because their team lost. You see people whose mood, productivity, and peace are held hostage by the performance of strangers kicking a ball. You see rivalries that breed genuine hatred, mockery that cuts deeper than banter, and loyalty to clubs that supersedes loyalty to principles. That supercedes spouse to spouse connection. The Prophet (SAW) said a person will be with those he loves on the Day of Judgment. If our heart is attached to these players, if we defend them with more passion than we defend the Companions, if we know their stats better than we know our obligations as Muslims...well, where does that leave us? These footballers become role models. Their lifestyle, their arrogance, their disbelief, their immoral choices, even if human—all of it gets excused because they're good at a sport. And slowly, imperceptibly, our standards start reflecting theirs instead of the Sunnah. I think it is okay to watch football. I follow the opinion that says it is permissible. But we must ask ourselves if it controls us, or if we control it. Does losing a match ruin our day? Do we skip salāh and family obligations to catch a game? Do we feel more connected to a club than to our Muslim brothers? Do we idolize men who live in open rebellion against Allah? Because if any of that is true, Sheikh Abdurrahman won't be exaggerating by any standards in this video. The reality of football (and every other sport and movie actors) is that they have become a substitute religions for millions, and Muslims aren't immune. Safeguard your īmān. Know where your heart actually is.

@Hassan_alQadri @sneako Shii'ism has consistently been detrimental to the Ummah It has been a divisive force allowing non Muslims to attack Muslims, as well as direct Shii'a attacks on Muslims weakening the Ummah The origin of Shii'ism is political with distinct religious bid'ah beliefs as outgrowths

The reality is that many “Sunni” dawah bros are now scrambling to contain the narrative as @sneako begins to show interest in the Shi’a and it's principles. While he has yet to engage deeply with a knowledgeable Shi’a, he is starting to recognize a clear distinction: between those who act and those who merely speak. It does not require deep analysis to observe that the Shi’a have consistently positioned themselves in defense of the Ummah. Acknowledging this does not negate the historical instances where Sunnis, too, have resisted oppression and repelled invaders, this is a shared legacy. However, what is concerning is the rise of reactionary voices whose hostility has clouded their judgment, reducing meaningful discourse to blind opposition rather than sincere pursuit of truth.

@BrotherRasheed It's almost as if majority Muslim countries, who, when polled, all vote in large majorities for Shariah Law, are colonized, & have government dictatorships propped up & imposed on them by the West. Interesting. I see your ignorance of the Muslim world extends outside of Islam.

If even Muslim-majority countries won’t fully enforce sharia, what does that tell you? They’ve quietly abandoned large parts of it. No amputations for theft, no stoning for adultery, no crucifixions in public squares, no public lashings for slander. Instead, they adopted Western-style criminal codes, courts, and political systems with parliaments and elections. So let’s be honest. If these countries themselves walked away from strict sharia because it doesn’t work, why should it be pushed in Western societies?

In 1982, The Muslim Brotherhood devised a plan “to establish an Islamic government on earth.” Not a mosque. GLOBAL CONTROL. Their strategy wasn't violent jihad. It was institutional penetration through temporary cooperation with non-Islamist groups. So basically, exactly what we see happening today.

US assistance in advancing and developing a civilian nuclear project (electricity generation). 3. Removal of the threat of sanctions being reimposed. 4. Iran’s nuclear programme is frozen under a defined framework. 5. Enriched uranium to remain, but under supervision and agreed limits. 6. Missile programme to be addressed at a later stage, with limits on quantity and range. 7. Use of nuclear programmes restricted to civilian/defensive purposes only. 8. Development of existing nuclear capabilities halted. 9. No further expansion of enrichment capabilities. 10. No production of weapons-grade nuclear material on Iranian soil. 11. All enriched material to be handed over to the IAEA within an agreed timeline. 12. Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow to be taken out of use (destroyed). 13. Wahhabis and Sunni sectarians have this low IQ insecurity that's funny to watch. They lash out angrily when they see non-Muslims or new converts (like Sneako) praising Iran or the Shia. If you were secure in being Sunni, you wouldn't act like a petulant child when Shia get credit for the good they do. Like, how emotionally and intellectually immature are you that you can't even acknowledge that what the Shia are doing in this moment against Israel is amazing, unprecendented, and admirable? When you deny this obvious reality that all can see with their own eyes, you look idiotic and morally compromised. Frankly, you make Sunnis look bad. People should know that most Sunnis are not like these braindead losers. They are an embarassment.

When freedom of speech was guaranteed to us all, mass anonymity of people who wish to engage in public conversation wasn't a thing. I honestly think that the old community standards of Twitter should come back. Insulting somebody? Banned. Racism? Banned. Homophobia? Banned. Unless you are a verified real person. Then and only then you can say anything you like. I know this post will get me hate, however I believe if you have something to say, say it with your chest, say it bravely and own the words you speak. The number of people who are unwilling to own their own words is worrying. Anon attack in 3... 2... 1...

At the Dublin airport, the woman across from me watched as I ate the tuna off the bread with a fork, then threw all the bread away. HER: “Excuse me, why are you wasting all that bread?” ME: “I’m on a very strict no-carb diet. I don’t consume anything that turns into sugar.” HER: “That seems extreme and very wasteful.” ME: “Not when you realize that most of your food is designed to kill you.” HER: “I don’t believe THAT.” “Well, nothing personal but I used to look like you, now I don’t, so I think I’m doing it right.” She got up and walked away 😀

Gulf states have refrained for years from building real armies, fearing that these armies might turn against the kingdoms and ruling families. Most Saudi and Gulf military spending in general goes toward bribing American arms companies in order to build pressure lobbies. That’s why Gulf military spending is among the highest in the world, while their armies are practically nonexistent and worthless outside of their un-air-conditioned barracks. Gulf states and their regimes possessed resources that would have allowed them to build strong armies capable of rivaling any power in the Middle East, but for political reasons they didn’t, and they believed that a network of financial interests in America would provide better protection than real national armies. This shows that these kingdom states lack any sense of nationalism or genuine concern for their peoples, and the issue of national security for them doesn’t go beyond being a matter of the security and survival of the ruling regime.
