Looking back on a blessed weekend. It's been soggy down here in AL but I know the garden will be happy. A deluge of a welcome for summer means lots of yummy garden salad. 😊 Having been confirmed into my church and spending an extra day with the family. Can't ask for much more.

This brings to mind the many family trips we took to Gettysburg. Dad was a huge history buff (esp. Civil War and both World Wars). Our Pop Pop was a 1st Class Sgt General (30+ years of service) and many other loved ones served. Our heroes were all home grown. 🫡🇺🇸

Oh no! Horrible choice. Those people are the wurst. And you will have to choose between a lager, pilsner, or bock for drink. From there you will have to decide, do I pretend that I can sing a few hymnal notes from Mendelssohn, or am I limited to Bach on Sunday morning? I am only jesting of course. We like to poke fun at ourselves. Congratulations. The Lord has redeemed you.😀

@Dambreaker Fair enough 😂 I travel 40 minutes one way to attend my church. There are way more ELCA churches near me and I almost lost hope in finding an LCMS church. Praise be to God, He has led me to a faithful LCMS church.

@TimReeves_ Raised UMC. Went prodigal for about 17 years until the Lord brought me to the faith. I attended a Baptist church for about a year before being led to my church.
