This brings to mind the many family trips we took to Gettysburg. Dad was a huge history buff (esp. Civil War and both World Wars). Our Pop Pop was a 1st Class Sgt General (30+ years of service) and many other loved ones served. Our heroes were all home grown. 🫡🇺🇸
