Hey Boaz! Replit uses Expo Go as the companion app for previewing native mobile apps on your phone. To get started, install the Expo Go app on your iPhone or Android device for free from the App Store or Play Store. In your Replit Workspace, select "Preview on mobile device" to display a QR code, then scan it with your phone to open a live native preview in Expo Go. This gives you a real native preview, so features like haptics, glass effects, and platform-specific styling will only appear when testing on a real device through Expo Go. If your preview looks out of date, shake your phone to open the developer menu and select Refresh. If you're using the Replit mobile app, you can also tap "Open in Expo Go" at the top of the preview pane. Hope this helps!

It’s sort of made me want to smash my computer as of late. Lot of wasted token spend iterating. Does 2 things correct and undoes 3 things. @Replit Approached in a bunch of different ways and rolled back and it’s still a big issue that these tools are messy and you often lack insight into what happened and why. It did xyz but why. Or it didn’t do something else and why? Or, it does something but you aren’t exactly sure how it was wired up, or potentially even lies about what it did or didn’t do or whether it used something it claimed to have used. Spent all week wanting to suplex all of these systems from the top rope. Honestly at the point where I do think just ignoring everything and waiting a year most of this will seem pointless. Look at the new google release of stitch AI. How much longer until it’s instant. I’ve found it beyond frustrating to get these tools to correctly wire up back end properly, or to try to mimic a build from elsewhere. I even gave it a repo it claims to be referencing but It’s hard to have a ton of insight into what it’s utilized or not so you wind up with this crazy scavenger hunt detective mess of spaghetti trying to detangle the ball of Christmas lights. It saps all the fun and flow out of building and it’s exhausting.

playing around with replit 4v (spent ~3 minutes writing a prompt) and it made a reader with the Genius-style annotations I've always wanted in like 5 minutes. incredible.

Hey @Replit I love you product, I was able to build something cool with it within 30mins of knowing about it, the possibilities it has given to non-developers is really top notch 💯💯. But here’s my small concern as a first time user: After paying for the monthly subscription(core plan) I didn’t understand how the credit system works, I thought the subscription gives room to unlimited credit for that month. So after building an application which was very easy I most commend, I went on to check my account usage and I found out there’s also a credit system and I’ve almost exhausted mine. Then I went on to check the pricing for credit and I saw the credit package starting from 100$, I would love to know if there’s a way I can buy credit with any desired amount and get it’s equivalent. Because personally I would love to be comfortable first using replit before buying credit above with 100$ or above. And I would be really happy if I’m gifted a any amount of credit so I can fully explore and understand your product Thanks @Replit keep on building

Hi there! We recommend the following options under Agent Modes to make the most out of your credits: -Economy Mode: Uses roughly 1/3 the credits per task. Switch via the Agent tools dropdown (bottom right of input box). -Lite Mode: Best for quick, targeted changes (text edits, bug fixes, styling). Very low cost per task. -Plan mode: Brainstorm your approach first so Agent doesn't waste credits going down the wrong path. Hope this helps!
