At heart I believe all of us are children of God who are siblings to one another. It’s time to create an alternative party in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, and Nevada that articulates and lives by classical liberal values. Representatives from such a party would have a bargaining chip and shape policies. Conforming to the MAGA GOP is complicity in its iniquity and you will be judged for enabling it. The lesser of two evils is still ALWAYS evil.

Lots of divisive assertions here. Many Latter-day Saints are Democrat. Many (most) non-religious people are moral. Many non-LDS people believe in God. Many Democrats value God, freedom, and faith. Most people are good, regardless of political or religious affiliation.

All BS. The USA does not have the ground force capacity to invade and hold Iran or any part thereof. The only land invasion that could happen is from Kuwait across Iraq - never happen. Or a sea borne landing - again never happen. Logistics and staging just isn't there. This is all a bluff. It is more about giving assurances to the Gulf states once peace is made between Iran and USA, as Iran will be unstoppable with 2 million men under arms - and they are pissed.

But that requires commitment, focus, discipline, and patience from our elected officials - attributes they don’t have. I have never doubted the abilities of the men and women in uniform; I just question the judgment of the politicians who send them into combat. This is going to take time, money, manpower, resolve, and vision - not shortsighted thinking and optics. Unfortunately that is how our politicians are wired and it wastes the precious blood of those who serve.

That’s just part of warfare. It’s time to destroy the Islamic Republic. This is our once in a generation chance to do it. U.S. military personnel volunteered their service for the country. They will execute it to victory. There’s a reason US military personnel are well taken cared of. We have the best pension and healthcare during retirement. We will always follow our commander in chief regardless of what people say. Free Iran and delete the Islamic Republic!

I don’t think the Strait of Hormuz can be secured without ground troops. It will take a lot of man power, energy, and effort to secure that entire waterway. What I just mentioned is precisely why we should not have escalated military action beyond taking out nuclear weapons development facilities. The minute we made it about regime change (which we did by killing Khamenei and other leaders while calling for people to rise up), it was either all in or nothing. What simply happened was we have a President who shoots from the hip and is undisciplined. He has a short attention span and is not interested in details. He took on a monumental feat based on gut emotion alone without realizing the massive implications. There is a reason why Presidents since Carter didn’t do this and it isn’t because they were stupid; quite the opposite.

B1G expansion past 20 isn’t happening without ND. Money isn’t there. The more the B1G expands with dilutive adds the more it reduces its earning potential with Ohio State. More games with Rutgers type schools rather than with Iowa, Wisconsin (when it doesn’t suck), USC, Oregon, or PSU decrease revenue maximization.

Ohio State isn't bending the knee to ND. That's why ND and the Big 10 are on separate contracts.
