🚨 TECH: ANTHROPIC SCRAMBLES TO CONTAIN CLAUDE CODE SOURCE LEAK AS DMCA TAKEDOWNS OVERSHOOT @AnthropicAI is rushing to contain the fallout from Monday's accidental release of Claude Code's full source code, filing thousands of DMCA copyright takedown requests on GitHub. The company later admitted the takedowns impacted more repositories than intended and has since scaled back. The containment effort appears futile. The leaked 512,000-line codebase has been forked over 41,500 times on GitHub, mirrored to decentralized platforms, and a Korean developer rewrote the core architecture in Python overnight, with the clean-room repo hitting 30,000 stars faster than any repository in GitHub history. The leak is Anthropic's second major security lapse in days, following the earlier exposure of internal documents that revealed an unreleased AI model codenamed "Mythos." A concurrent supply-chain attack on the axios npm package during the same window added a trojanized remote access trojan that may have affected users who installed Claude Code between 00:21 and 03:29 UTC on March 31.

Frankly, this is the most dishonest perspective on the “claim your fees” spam that I’ve ever read.
Everyone knows that the moment he does it, it will haunt him on for the rest of his tenure on this app. Every reply will be about making the price goes up.
We intend to update our API policies to block apps that create fee pools for non-consenting users.

i've heard most of the @steipete interview and there's a couple of very contradictory messages...
on one hand: he claims to be losing around $10k to $20k a month on maintaining @openclaw... on the other: he disses the crypto movement from trying to tokenize his projects and being very spammy.
i understand his prejudice towards spammy agents trying to open your eyes about @bankrbot or similar tokenizing systems, i held those views myself... but peter: there's probably at least $100k in fees waiting for you on these token networks, if not way more.
