De-“de-oilization” of Russia. • What was essentially a routine drone strike on Tuapse turned into a tragedy. There is no air defense. There is nothing. A fake country. Any minor incident escalates into a catastrophe. Russia can only stand by, blinking, waiting to see where it gets hit next. • There is no specialized equipment either. No one is even trying to collect the spilled oil. A couple of volunteer “nerds” with buckets and shovels—that’s it. The governor has asked residents to evacuate. Honestly, it’s surreal. “Everything is going according to plan.” • And not long ago they were talking about “taking Kyiv in three days.” Full of swagger—flashy gestures, puffed-up pride, empty eyes. The middle class used to fly to Milan and Paris for weekend shopping. How quickly that worldly glory faded. Now they’re dressed in cheap Chinese mass-market goods—and driving them too. And this is after just a couple of years of sanctions. What will it be like in 20–30 years?

Workers Party of Britain
Workers Party of Britain@WorkersPartyGB·
Following the comments of King Charles in the USA and the taste for war at fever pitch, we must reaffirm the following statement: Keir Starmer is "ready and willing" to deploy British troops to Ukraine The Workers Party condemns Britain’s involvement in Ukraine and calls for no deployment of troops and a cessation of providing arms and the ludicrous pact to provide £3 billion a year for 100 years. While Britain’s oligarchs seek to plunder Ukraine’s wealth and exploit her domestic and foreign policy to their advantage, we affirm that the entire bloody debacle is contrary to the interests of British workers. Since 2014 a million Ukrainians have died due to the fascist putsch implemented by Victoria Nuland and the jackboots of Right Sector, the Azov Battalion and a host of other deplorable stooges of NATO and EU imperialism. All in the quest to destroy Russia and Ukraine’s relationship and firmly secure Ukraine’s agricultural and industrial wealth for monopoly corporations such as BlackRock. Our imperialist Labour government has been a key player in planning, perpetrating and continuing this disastrous war. Many British workers have been propagandised by the media establishment, into accepting this war on an entirely false premise that sought to paint Russia, rather than NATO, as the aggressors. This has laid the basis for Starmer to deploy British troops on the ground that would be a catastrophic act of war upon Russia, just as the Trump administration in a moment of lucidity is beginning the negotiation of a peace settlement. Britain has no business in fighting a war to subjugate other nations to NATO, the EU or Anglo-American imperialism. To deploy British workers to these ends is both rationally and morally meaningless and corrupting. British workers however do have the means to stop such wars; this requires not mere individual acts of heroism but decisive collective action. The establishment and corporations cannot wage their wars without the manpower and arms provided by workers. If the current Government places the British people and the British military in a position of potential or actual participation in an armed conflict with Russia, the Workers Party will do all in its power to assist in building a movement of mass non-cooperation with any such drive to imperialist war. Industrial and military non-cooperation could end such madness in its tracks. Industrial workers could refuse to build arms, transport workers could refuse to load and ship arms, soldiers could reasonably refuse to fight in a war that was driven by interests other than those of the British people and at their expense. Such practical policies must be adopted and promoted by all sane people. Trade unions, political organisations and anti-war groups must adopt this line to prevent a conflict that may have apocalyptic consequences. No cooperation with imperialist war! Quit NATO, build Britain!

Russia killed a person and injured at least seven others in its drone strike on the Dnipro region, with civilian infrastructure including homes, shops, and transport damaged. Across Ukraine, overnight Russian attacks involving over 200 drones and missiles hit multiple regions, causing power outages and destruction. Dozens of civilians were affected by this attack. Sanctions and coordinated international pressure remain crucial to stop Russia’s war.
