She was never meant to outlive her friends either. She’s an artificial alicorn like Cadance, not a natural one like Celestia, Luna or Flurry Heart. She’s was also already an adult when she transformed, so there was no reason for her to grow any larger. Not showing that is guarantee enough.

@MLP_researcher She never asked to rule Equestria, because she never wanted or needed to. She was perfectly happy doing her own thing as Princess of Friendship in Ponyville with her friends, castle and school. That was her own niche role she carved out for herself.
