Because of the princesses retiring, Sombra returning, the forest attacking, Fluttershy making carnivores eat plants, Gabby and Rarity acting like strangers, Ahuiztol being good, Grogar being fake, the other villains getting turned to stone, the time skip, Twilight’s growth spurt, and the book she was reading closing at the end. It’s a mess of forced storylines, ooc moments, continuity errors, retcons and cheap plot twists.
