@ScienceKasey @AaronSiriSG Sorry if you are an outlier- but this is data- The typical age of people who get cervical cancer is 35 to 50. The people who were vaccinated first are only just reaching their early/mid 30s. The graph shows all people (not a cohort), so you won't see the benefit yet.

Conspicuously absent is the fact that HPV vaccine wasn't introduced until 2008 (limited rollout of bivalent brand) and Gardasil not until 2012.... that puts the chart in a very different light...
Our World in Data@OurWorldInData

Death rates for cervical cancer in the United Kingdom have fallen by 80% since 1950— Cervical cancer death rates among women in the United Kingdom have fallen by around 80% since 1950. You can see this reduction in the chart. This progress happened for a couple of key reasons. The first was the introduction of population-level screening programs in 1988. Across the UK, women are invited to get a regular smear test to detect precancerous changes or cervical cancer cases early, when treatment has much better odds of success. Another, and more recent innovation, which could put the UK on the path to eradicating cervical cancer completely, is the rollout of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. This protects someone from the HPV infection, which can later develop into cervical cancer. In schools across the country, girls in their early teens are offered the HPV vaccine, effectively offering them long-lasting protection. I was one of the first cohorts of girls in the UK to receive this, and it’s something I’m incredibly grateful for. The UK is not alone in its progress: a number of countries have managed to reduce cervical cancer death rates in recent decades. (This Data Insight was written by @_HannahRitchie.)

@sarobertsonca If Carney had his way, Brock’s statue would be at the bottom of Lake Ontario and anything bearing Brock’s name would be renamed to an African tribe that practiced a brutal form of slavery like Sankofa Square in Toronto.

CARNEY: "When I get into the office, I always look at this statue on my desk. It was given to me by Mike Myers just over a year ago, and this is General Isaac Brock. Faced with the threat of an American invasion, Brock built alliances across our land and inspired what would eventually become Canada."

It's a semi-regular phenomenon that Europeans fly to the Yukon, walk into the woods and are never seen again. They figure there will eventually be some village where they can stock up on supplies, but the only points on their map are temporary camps that have been abandoned since the Gold Rush.

@TristinHopper I suggested to my German friend that we travel from Toronto to Ottawa for the weekend and she responded with a suggestion that we drive from Toronto to Vancouver for a quick getaway instead.

@carrie_byington @DrPanMD 😬 All four patients experienced generalized tetanus. Common symptoms included back, neck, and jaw pain; muscle spasms and muscle rigidity; and difficulty walking. All patients were hospitalized (mean duration = 25 days; range = 8–45 days)

@ripx4nutmeg @Westgat06583980 I had to stop watching GW. I wish it had stayed being a lovely programme about lovely gardens. Pure escapism. Being the BBC, it couldn’t resist the slide into identity politics. Such a shame.

@Kit_Yates_Maths @lascapigliata8 Lies, sadly. Where is this data coming from? Do they list the source? Have you seen who paid for the study (if there is one)? Have you checked the conflicts of interest of the authors (again, if the study exists)? Have you looked at the stats on all cause mortality since rollout?

there's more than 200 strains of HPV, about a dozen of those strains are high risk. Gardasil protects against about 65% of the high risk strains but only about 4% of the strains overall. it does cover the most regularly detected strains of 6, 11, (low risk) and 16 and 18 (high risk).

RFK Jr. breaks down how illogical it is to blame him for recent measles outbreaks in the U.S. “The accusation is not science-based.” “Measles outbreaks began in January 2025 before I took office.” “Almost 90% of the people affected are over 5 years old, so their decision to not vaccinate predated my occupation of this seat.” “The measles outbreak is not an American phenomenon, it is global.” “It is happening all over the world.” “And we’ve done better under my leadership than any country in the world in limiting it.”

Mr. Peter Hotez - I have helped over 9000 Cancer patients from around the world, with Ivermectin, Mebendazole and Fenbendazole over the past 2 years and these cancer patients have outperformed every major Cancer Clinic in the United States from Mayo Clinic to MD Anderson to Memorial Sloan Kettering... I have over 100 Oncologists and Surgeons on record saying they have "never seen" results like they've seen in patients who took these repurposed drugs, often alongside their mainstream treatments... We have over 1000 published testimonials... Florida Cancer Innovation Fund has committed over $60 million to study Ivermectin and Mebendazole in Human Clinical Trials and NCI is also studying Ivermectin now, thanks to our efforts. I have provided work on a PATENT involving these treatments, we have the world's first Published Ivermectin Cancer Protocol (2024) and dozens of publications are in progress or under peer review. Being a competent Scientist and Physician means you listen and you read, when you don't know. And believe me. You don't know. God Bless...🙏

RFK Jr. says the two little girls who died of measles were not given proper care in the hospital. He says the era of treating unvaccinated individuals differently is over. “Two little girls died tragically in the Mennonite community in Texas.” “Mennonites have not vaccinated since 1796.” “I went to the funeral of one of those little girls, and I spent a day with the family of the other.” “Both of them told me that when they took their children to the hospital, they were treated as pariahs.” “They were shamed there.” “They were not given proper treatments.” “Both families believe their daughters… could have been saved if the hospital gave them proper treatment.” “There’s a lot of people in this country who… are not going to vaccinate.” “I believe that we need to treat them with compassion and understanding and empathy and get them the treatments that they would get anywhere else in the world.”

I saw the evidence for the one little girl- her chest X-ray clearly showed a bacterial pneumonia- a study the hospital ordered but apparently ignored. The child was given NO antibiotics, I suspect because they wanted her to die- "of measles". There were a lot of people killed in this fashion during covid- docs were told they would lose their license if they treated bacterial pneumonia with antibiotics. It's disgusting, but that is the state of medical practice in America today

@Dr_Z_Media @EndTribalism If they had proper care, they probably wouldn’t have died 🤪 one of the kids was in the hospital before exposure to measles. She was quite sick still when they discharged her. When she came back they delayed proper testing and treatment for the pneumonia that she had.
