@JRPG_Warrior I agree I never really hated Vaan. He was there, but not a bad addition.

I love Vaan and Penelo. Vaan’s purpose is to help Ashe move beyond her desire for revenge. Penelo shows Ashe that Dalmasca and the Empire can live in peace, reflected in her relationship with Larsa. Plus I can't imagine a good story about war without orphans.

@Der_Kernel_ The Empire. They aren't really the bad guess. The Himer are just doin a asshole and manipulating people from the shadows. They provide stability, peace and order. And there are still many men in there that are doing what's right in bad situations.
