Premier clubs have appoints that align with ego maniac President's and the like that wouldn't know snow from sand. CV Hussey found that out at luncheon over the weekend at Subbies.

No @vicpremcricket men's First XI finals this season for competition powers Melbourne or St Kilda. And CV official Will Rice tells us that the last time both clubs missed was in 1983-84.

Money aspect is 1 & hope u agree many Clubs (particularly perennial cellar dwellers) must sort out their priorities - can't continue 2b 'spending resources' on teams not involved in PC & not working on youth & talent.

Exciting time for the @MelbCC women's teams. The Dees have already won seconds and thirds flags, and on Saturday at Shepley Oval they'll meet Prahran in the First XI grand final.Then there's the U18 female GF on Monday. Great achievement from coach Teagan Parker and the players.

A day out for Peter Siddle in @vicpremcricket today - with the bat. He hit 71no off 55 balls for Dandenong against Greenvale Kangaroos, putting away 9 fours and 1 six. It was only his second half-century at Premier level.

We lowered the hands a touch, kept those fingers down and put those wrists together. The wrists together is because a few years ago I saw Rishabh Pant miss a stumping off Ashwin that went straight through the wrists and felt there was an easier solution for that not happening!

SMALL CHANGES; BIG DIFFERENCES A brilliant session with a talented keeper on Sunday, we moved Louie’s hands down just a touch. He explained he was struggling at times with the fuller ball and this seemed to be the solution! (1/2)
