Pakistan has a documented pattern of killing Afghan civilians with airstrikes and then hiding behind the word ‘terrorists’. UNAMA already recorded dozens of civilian deaths from Pakistani operations in late 2025, and now hundreds more after strikes on Nangarhar, Paktika and even a Kabul rehab hospital. If Amnesty is serious about accountability, it should explicitly call for UN sanctions and referral of responsible Pakistani officials to international mechanisms, not just another report that Islamabad will ignore.
