@jaystalk89 @Clapz23 i like hoffman don’t get me wrong, i just personally haven’t been comfortable even going back to before that playoff run last szn, i think he would be the perfect set up man but you are right there isn’t really a surplus of better closers available rn.

Last year was last year, he had an insanely high HR/FB rate that is unlikely to repeat. This season is very small sample but he’s been K’ing guys and letting up weak contact outside of Langeliers taking him deep on a high fastball. There aren’t a ton of clear obvious upgrades over this guy
