We have identified a City owned building in the CBD that was abandoned for 10 years. We want this property to be used as a workspace for young entrepreneurs. The decision to do this follows an X-Space we held with young entrepreneurs who complained about not having space to work. We are availing this city asset for the benefit of young people to work and do business. The building, located on Nana Sita, and should be ready by early 2026 to be utilised as an Entrepreneurs Corner. We are committed to implementing the Tshwane Economic Revitalisation Strategy. @CityTshwane

Let this be a reminder that when we say many of the challenges facing our municipalities are man-made, this is exactly what we mean. During Nkuli Mbundu’s tenure as @Action4SA MMC for Economic Development, the ANC walked out of Council rather than support the Informal Trading Policy that sought to restore fairness and prioritise South Africans. Today, we are still fixing the consequences of that political negligence. Johannesburg deserves better. 🇿🇦
