@golfingpanti There have been at least 4 UConn players who have transferred to at least three big east teams. Its not an indictment on any of those coaches/programs.

I am still digesting the Hines to UConn transfer, and it really leaves an awful taste in my mouth for many reasons. It has also permanently changed my opinion towards the UConn program. Let me explain:

One thing to remember, for those critical of Silas Demary Jr.’s NCAA tourney play, is that the injury was worse than most know: Grade 2 ankle sprain with 1 torn ligament and 2 partially torn ligaments in ankle.
He basically played on pure will.

It's not like an errant pass bounced off a UConn player's head and went in to win it.

@topper_fan My favorite new rule is when a player dives for and gets a loose ball, moonwalks sideways in a half circle, then two opposing players dive onto him, check the guy for an inguinal hernia, one guy has both feet out of bounds, and the refs are like, "jump ball!"

@PeteFiutak Just so happens to be that UConn has had 1/3 of their games reffed by Breeding. And it isn't just about the foul calls/no calls. Guys were literally sliding. 5-6 feet on the ground with the ball and not getting travel calls. It was a shit show.

UConn is 310th in the nation in free throw attempts, and 243rd in fouls committed for a reason
