@Sofithevilla Wild that it was that simple, they had plan in place, spoke about it the day before, and then just opted not to implement it. Would love to know the reasoning behind that, especially since they've done it in the past.

@nealrogers I have a message from LifeTime that says ““The reroute would be very simple: straight instead of left, then left three miles later. Then you’re back on course”I was already asking if they had a plan at 11am on Friday. It was also talked about at the press conference.

@MikeBike67 @Cyclingnewsfeed I am advocating to have a fair playing field like the pro men do. I have always said there needs to be a split between pro and amateur field because the “rules” required to keep the front end fair should not take away from the experience of the masses.
