The Ethereum Foundation now having a new media focus? The narrative being strong? The timing being perfect? No. It's actually a lot more simple. The style, rhythm, typography, music, pacing, sound design. It's almost like you're watching it, without realising. You don't get bookmarks unless you learn something. And people want to learn taste, and develop style. During an off-site, which would never usually be filmed. Not because we're the best, but because we care. So what is the message here? > Develop taste and then forget about everything you've learnt.

Example: your code works, but it’s unusable until a good UX is built. Example: your policy works, but it’s unpopular unless it’s explained properly. Example: your medicine works, but you need to give it a catchy name to get it prescribed. These are really all the same problem. Making it work is the backend, making it pretty is the frontend. Do both or fail. That said: it’s easier to add frontend optics than to invent backend substance, which is why the advice to focus on substance first actually is good advice.
