@whoppernaut i felt the same way before i watched a bunch of westerns and had only seen Tombstone. its a great movie but you realize that it’s kinda the Spielberg version of a Western. not a bad thing at all, but more of a popcorn film than a genre film

Why is everyone crapping on Romita Jr. but the likes of Sal Buscema, who was an objectively far inferior artist, continue to be exalted? I get that Romita Jr. is not for everyone. I myself find his blocky style unfit for Spiderman (but perfect for the likes of DD and Punisher). But his body of work is undeniable.
