I don't think we're in a Barbenheimer scenario where both films can flourish simultaneously, The Odyssey is gonna have its two weeks and then it's absolutely gonna get crushed by Spidey. Can absolutely see theater chains forcing Odyssey out of IMAX like they did with Mandalorian.

I'm not even sure what to say, just one of those movies that really gets under your skin in an absolutely horrifying way. Also, this is probably Sam Neill's best work, his passing really is a tremendous loss.

@joaquin_film I doubt it'll make 2 billion, the mcu just doesn't have the same momentum it has leading up to infinity war and endgame. It'll still make a lot though, definitely more then dune (unfortunately)

@scavbolt In standard imax you'll get a taller 1.9:1 image, in standard 70mm you'll get a cropped 2.2:1 image. I'd probably go for imax
