Which banks are writing venture debt these days? Have a portco closing 8m series a, growing 3x yoy, breakeven and looking for revolver + venture debt for smoothing out working capital.

This matters a lot! Problems occur when households move from being technically solvent to technically insolvent on a monthly basis. Increasing debt service burden costs are usually a culprit. But, this trend does have a second order effect that's profound. It locks people into their existing long term durable goods (housing, cars, etc) which will impact spend! Certain businesses and professions will feel the shock (i.e. - Car dealers, Realtors, etc).

Why is this tiny ADU so expensive? Well, first, there’s no access, so we have to hand dig. Second, your sewer line is almost 5’ down. Next, we dodge that gas line and relocate your entire sprinkler system. Now we have thousands in site work and haven’t started the footings.

One reason I love my plumber & use him for sewer line inspections is he marks the property & on his video indicates where the junctions, cleanouts & depth of the line are so homeowners are better informed Sadly he doesn’t go north of the 56. Haven’t found a guy up there as good as him
