It was recently publicly discovered his girlfriend benefited from government contracts during Tishaura’s administration. So far: business as usual in St. Louis Democrat politics. The plot thickened, however, when @AGCHanaway hired Jane Dueker a few months back as Asst. Attorney General. Catherine Hanaway, as we’ve seen from her brief tenure as #moag, isn’t fucking around. Jane is a Democrat, former political operative, former Chief of Staff to MO Governor Bob Holden (D), and long-time lobbyist to the St. Louis Police Officers union. She’s a tough-on-crime, old school, South St. Louis-type Democrat. And she’s been around long enough and at a high enough level to know where ALL the Democrat corruption bodies are buried in St. Louis. Hanaway hired Jane with an eye towards cleaning up what has been one of the most corrupt political machines in the country. Today that effort bore its first fruit.

“Whether it was his bizarre questioning of reporters in Spring Training, mentioning Kanye West in the year 2026 or catching himself as he compared Rafael Devers to Tigers Woods, there have been some bizarre press conference moments from Tony Vitello so far as Giants manager.
None are impossible to overcome, but when you get a reputation early on as someone who puts their foot in their mouth, it can be difficult to overcome that. It might be even harder for Vitello, who is in his first year in any role on an MLB staff after previously serving as the head coach at the University of Tennessee.
The thing about outside-the-box hires is they rarely go just OK. Early on, it’s felt like things could go south quickly for Vitello if the Giants don’t perform up to expectations.”
